The Slammin’ Mens Masters +40 team participated in the Slo-Pitch National Championships at Softball City in White Rock BC. The 2009 National Championships took place on the Civic Holiday Long Weekend, starting with the team check on Thursday, July 30th. Games began on Friday, July 31st with the champions Driving Force being crowned on Monday, August 3. Softball City is a premier Sports and Entertainment complex consisting of four championship calibre diamonds, surrounding a 120 seat fully licensed restaurant with a 200 seat outdoor patio. The patio provides a great vantage point to relax and watch the events taking place.
