Border Battle Ratings!
Wednesday, August 05, 2009
Softball Canada is extremely pleased to announce that the Men’s Slo-Pitch Border Battle, which was televised live on July 18th in the United States, posted a .67 television rating, which translates to just over 650,000 unique homes who tuned in to watch the game on ESPN. That figure is considered to be quite high for a one-off showcase game. It is also believed that the Canadian ratings were also considerably high for the game, which aired on July 19th on TSN.
These figures are very encouraging for the game of Slo-Pitch, and both Softball Canada and the Amateur Softball Association of America (ASA) are looking to build off of this event’s great success.
